October 31, 2013 |

Question: How can we understand that Srila Prabhupada said that Ramacharita Manasa should not be printed in ISKCON and yet we find senior devotees giving seminars on the same? NB: In this recording, Maharaj is referring to a lecture on Ramacharita Manasa that he had given previously. You can hear to that lecture here: About Ramacaritamanasa.

Fate of a Devotee with Previous Sinful Life

June 26, 2011 |

Question: You had been asked about this "cruel punishments" on hellish planets, from the point of view of human law. Sivananda Prabhu(brahmacari ashram partner) ask me this so I ask to you: What is the fate of a sadhaka in Krishna consciousness who had a previous sinner life? I have some doubts…shall he go to Vaikhuntha? shall he came again here to preach for the sake of Lord Caitanya? And what is the destiny of his forefathers?

I feel education is very important. Most of the Devotee's in ISKCON are from institutions like MIT,IIT etc… According to me the education plays a important role in understanding the spiritual science. Please make me understand this point.

If You Are Struggling in Practice of Brahmacarya

February 27, 2011 |

Question: I am practicing brahmacarya, but I sometimes find it a struggle. I find the night time most difficult, I can’t control the dreams, and I end up masturbating in the dream. I read that after 12 years of perfect brahmacarya, one develops super memory, clairvoyance etc., and atma-tattva, but does this also mean no wet dream for the entire 12 years = 365*12 more than 5000 dreams that have to be controlled!
