Fate of a Devotee with Previous Sinful Life

June 26, 2011 |

Question: You had been asked about this "cruel punishments" on hellish planets, from the point of view of human law. Sivananda Prabhu(brahmacari ashram partner) ask me this so I ask to you: What is the fate of a sadhaka in Krishna consciousness who had a previous sinner life? I have some doubts…shall he go to Vaikhuntha? shall he came again here to preach for the sake of Lord Caitanya? And what is the destiny of his forefathers?

Sankirtan Devotees

Question: Why is the term 'sankirtan devotees' so commonly used in ISKCON nowadays to address book/prasadam distributors? As I understood it from HDG Srila Prabhupada's books, we are all supposed to be sankirtan devotees, because we are part of Sri Caitanya's sankirtan mission. As I understood it from HDG Srila Prabhupada's books, we are all supposed to be sankirtan devotees, because we are part of Sri Caitanya's sankirtan mission. Not being a 'sankirtan devotee' is fatal in this respect. I looked through the Vedabase and Srila Prabhupada never used the term himself, which is kind of suspicious. Thank you very much for clarification.

Question:

How was it possible that Sukadeva Goswami became an impersonalist (Brahmavadi) but then became attracted to Krishna’s personalistic activities?

I ask this because I have heard from senior devotees that Suka is parrot of Radharani and that in his form as a parrot, he heard Bhagavatam from Lord Siva while he was explaining it to Mother Parvathi.

Also Sukadeva Goswami remained in the womb of his mother (Bitika) for around 16 years as he refused to come out. But after Krishna assured him that he will not be attracted by His Maya energy, then he came out. This means that Suka knows Krishna is supreme. Then how did he become an impersonalist.

Question: 1) My question is that why god Krishna is coupled with Radharani in every temple and in every poster. What about his wives Rukmini and Satyabhama. Did Krishna loves only Radharani? What is that reason if my question is wrong? Please pardon me. 2) Why is it that only Lord Krishna in a deity form is worshiped with Srimati Radharani? Lord Balaram an immediated expansion of Lord Krishna, is not with a deity form with his wife in spiritual world?
