  1. Janmastami, the most opulent festival

There are many statements about the festive days in connection with Krsna's different activities. One of these festive days is Janmastami, the day of Krsna's birth. This Janmastami day is the most opulent festival day for the devotees, and it is still observed with great pomp in every Hindu house in India. Sometimes even the devotees of other religious groups take advantage of this auspicious day and enjoy the performance of the ceremony of Janmastami.
  2. Krsna comes to show Vrndavana life

If you simply think of Krsna only, then you get a body where by which you can go to Krsna. You can go to Krsna. By going to Krsna, you can talk with Krsna personally. One should not artificially try to see the form of the Lord while chanting Hare Krsna, but when the chanting is performed offenselessly the Lord will automatically reveal Himself to the view of the chanter. The chanter, therefore, has to concentrate on hearing the vibration, and without extra endeavor on his part, the Lord will automatically appear.

One should take to Krsna consciousness and become eternally happy.

So the democracy, the president elected by popular vote, is now being condemned. So what is the value of this democracy? You elect somebody by your vote, again condemn. That means the electors, the voters, have also no experience, and neither the man
  6. Extreme child abuse

A teacher in school once threatened his pupil that he would cut off the pupil's head and hang it on the wall so that the child could see how his head had been cut off. The child became frightened and stopped his mischief. Similarly, the miseries of the pure soul and the disruption of his self-identification are managed by the external energy of the Lord, which
  7. Don’t expect utopia

It is not so much that because there may be some faults in our godbrothers and godsisters, or because there may be some mismanagement or lack of cooperation, that this is due to being impersonalists, no. It is the nature of the living condition to always have some fault. Even in the Spiritual World there is some fault and envy — sometimes the Gopis will quarrel over
  8. Srila Rupa Goswami on the nectar of Krsna-nama

I do not know how much nectar the two syllables ‘Krs-na' have produced. When the holy name of Krsna is chanted, it appears to dance within the mouth. We then desire many, many mouths. When that name enters the holes of the ears, we desire many millions of ears. And when the holy name dances in the courtyard of the heart, it conquers the activities of the mind, and therefore all the senses become inert.
