1. Guru, ordinary man, keeps dogs, stays with rich disciples

Giriraja: When I was at Poona, I was meeting this man. So the next house is a very wealthy widow, Sindhi lady. And one of the big gurus of Poona comes and spends time at her house. It’s really bad. This morning on the beach, I went to chant my rounds. So there’s another big swami, Swami M’ananda, and he was sitting on the beach. Some followers were there. And he’s also staying with some rich disciple. And he’s such a rascal that he loves dogs. He keeps dogs in his asrama.

    Prabhupada: Ordinary man.

Giriraja: Yeah, right, ordinary man, that’s right. In a different dress, an ordinary man.
