We had shifted from downtown to our new land in Juhu Beach. And there were very few devotees and too much work to do; we literally had no manpower. Tamal Krsna Goswami was discussing the problem with Srila Prabhupada, and Prabhupada called for me. So I went there and Prabhupada said, “So, what shall we do?” He was asking me my advice. (laughs) I was flabbergasted. I didn’t know what to say. I said, “Well, I’ll try to work harder, Prabhupada.” (laughs) He was expecting some intelligent ideas and I was . . . But he would consult his disciples; of course, he might have already decided what to do, but still he would consult us.
